Polydactyly- Multiple Fingers

Some babies may be born with a congenital multiple finger deformity. These fingers may have a bony structure, or they may be in the form of a boneless or non-functional finger. It creates asymmetry if it is single combed. Most families request that it be taken before the baby grows up or wears shoes. Surgery should be performed at a safe age when the baby can receive anesthesia.
